Your New Music Teacher
I am Doctor McFarland and I have taught music for 20 years to students young and old. This course teaches the basics of music and with this foundation you can go on to learn any instrument that you want. I grew up playing Trombone and piano then later moved to guitar, bass, drums, mandolin, banjo, dobro and anything else with strings.
Music is a language:
- Read it
- Write it
- Speak it
This course provides all the content that you would normally get from private lessons but packaged in video form so you can go at your own pace and stay on any section longer till its mastered.

FAQs

This is a great course if you know nothing about music but want to start learning the basics needed to learn songs and play music with others.
-
I always suggest practicing for 5-10 minutes at a time with a metronome. You will concentrate on one particular skill and keep working on it till its mastered. Following these steps you should expect to start playing songs in the first month.

Everyone has gaps in their knowledge of music. Some play by ear and "don't know a lick of theory". This will be a good course to fill in those gaps so you fully understand and comprehend how music works.
